The longer story.

I'm Rohit. I lead AI-first product delivery and agentic commerce — and I think a lot about what holds those systems together, which is mostly people.

I've spent the last fifteen years building software, the last six of them building it with AI somewhere in the loop. I lead a team focused on agentic commerce — the systems that let autonomous agents act as economic participants. The work is mostly about taste, judgment, and clarity about where the model is in the loop.

Background

I've led large-scale technology initiatives across commerce platforms, content management, and enterprise integrations — helping organizations move toward modern architectures (MACH, composable commerce, headless) while building engineering teams that can sustain them. Today I focus on AI-native delivery: how agents, coding assistants, and automated workflows reshape every phase of the software lifecycle, from planning to production.

What drives me

  • AI-first delivery — embedding AI into every stage of how teams plan, build, and ship.
  • Composable architectures — best-of-breed services stitched together with clear contracts.
  • Learning in public — sharing the experiments, the trade-offs, and the dead ends as I go.
  • Agentic commerce — tracking the emergence of autonomous agents as primary actors in commerce flows.

What I'm working on

This site — Uncovering Cosmos — is both portfolio and lab. Built on Next.js 15, Keystatic, Supabase, and a healthy amount of Claude Code. Alongside it I'm developing an agentic-commerce intelligence dashboard that tracks the evolving landscape of AI-powered commerce — from product-discovery agents to autonomous purchasing workflows.

Off the clock

I play drums — badly, but better every month. I play chess — also badly, also better. I sit thirty minutes most mornings. I lift four days a week, hike when I can, travel as often as the calendar allows, and read more than is reasonable. I take photos because I can't write fast enough. I write because I can't think clearly any other way.
